Position Summary:

A Private Market Operations Specialist coordinates all client service functions of Alternative Investments.  They are responsible for the operational process beginning with document procurement through suporting reporting efforts.  They will also liaise between multiple departments to communicate information and enhance efficiencies.  The Private Market Operations Specialist must demonstrate a commitment to extraordinary attention to detail, an exceptional work ethic and positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports all operational aspects of Private Equity and Alternative Investment client service functions
  • Oversees data integrity relating to Private Equity and Alternative Investments
  • Reconciles data in reporting software to source data and investigate deviations
  • Tracks valuations of investments and input to reporting software
  • Prepares, delivers and processes subscription documents, redemption paperwork, standing Letters of Instruction and other money movement forms 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of three to five years in a related industry
  • Excellent quantitative, written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with business development contracts, prospects, consultants and clients
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
