Position Summary:

The Director, Relationship Management is is primarily responsible to develop and implement a client service strategy that exemplifies Oxford's commitment to providing our clients with high touch, high quality personalized service. In addition, this position is responsible for leading the team that services client relationships and is accountable to maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and retention.  The Director will lead and coach the Client Service Associates ("CSA") ensuring the consistent delivery of the Oxford experience. The Director is a senior level, versatile team player who can interface with all areas of the firm as an advocate for the client and the client experience. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a Client Service Strategy that embodies the Oxford Way 

  • Ensures consistent servicing of investment and family office clients
  • Promotes relationship building through a proactive client service approach
  • Identifies, supports and advocates for the needs of Oxford clients and their advisors 
  • Develops content for client communications and deliverables

2. Develop and lead the Client Service Team ensuring long term client satisfaction and retention                                                   

  • Coach, Mentor and develop the skills of the CSA team
  • Ensures consistent implementation of CSA process and procedures
  • Provides regular feedback to the COO regarding the needs, capacity and challenges of the CSA team
  • Networks with Oxford Management to gather feedback for continued development of the CSA team

3. Works with key stakeholders to continually improve the Client Experience             

  • Identify and implement enhanced services for our client and advisor communities by staying abreast of the current market trends.
  • Works with the COO and Oxford Management to identify opportunities to improve our Service Strategy through partnerships with technology vendors and other service providers.
  • Identifies opportunities to utilize current technology and service providers to increase efficiency and delivery of the client experience.  

4. Support and execute projects and initiatives as directed by the COO                                    

  • Owns and implements strategic plan goals and objectives as assigned
  • Owns and implements projects as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in finance, business or related field
  • 7-10 years of senior-level relationship management experience in a financial services organization specializing in investment advisory services.
  • Relationship Manager, Investment Adviser or Business Development background preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships at all levels including with clients and top management of the firm.
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation skills
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to learn technical information quickly.
  • The ability to convey information to others clearly and concisely.
  • The ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Significant knowledge of investment products, clearing and settlement practices and trust fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Position requires frequent travel up to 5 days per month
