Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. is searching for a Manager Portfolio Strategy. This associate would be responsible for ensuring the consistent application of investment allocations formulated by the Oxford Investment Fellow ("OIF") to client portfolios. As well as, creating processes and procedures that adequately administer OIF's best thinking relative to portfolio construction and manager selection.  




Portfolio Management Oversight 

  • Develops and maintains policies and procedures for the implementation and execution of Investment decisions
  • Ensures accuracy of account settings, rebalancing rules and security settings in rebalancing software and model portfolios
  • Implements efficient procedures and processes for reviewing and managing both discretionary and non-discretionary client portfolios in accordance with IPS guidelines and OIF advice
  • Participates in OIF meetings, keeping records and remaining up-to-date with current strategic, tactical and manager positioning recommendations, reporting current allocations and manager rankings/settings in Tamarac
  • Works with the Managing Director and/or the cell team to ensure smooth transition and "on boarding" process for new clients, including proper documentation for investment purposes

Portfolio Management and Rebalancing Software Management

  • Continuously monitoring and improving the use of the firms portfolio management and rebalancing software
  • Responsible for ensuring that all portfolios are managed using the software as appropriate
  • Creates portfolio management processes and procedures designed to reduce or eliminate dispersions in portfolio returns relative to the OIF allocation models
  • Works with the Portfolio Strategists to create investment allocations and consults with Managing Directors as needed

 Personnel Management

  • Handles personnel items, including hiring, training, feedback sessions and issues
  • Monitors project flow, quality and capacity issues
  • Evaluates performance
  • Develops skills of others 


  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Investment/Capital Markets experience preferred
  • Professional designation(s) such as CFA or MBA required
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Must have strong analytical and data skills, including ability to organize and manipulate large data sets
  • Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment
  • Ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
