Position Summary:

Our Wealth Planner prepares comprehensive estate and financial planning analysis, as well as prepares client deliverables. The Wealth Planner must demonstrate a commitment to extraordinary client service through timely, friendly, professional and confidential responses, an exceptional work ethic and positive attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Estate Planning

  • Develops expertise working with financial planning software (e.g., NaviPlan, eMoney)
  • Develops and maintains templates for estate illustrations (e.g., Excel, Smartsheets)
  • Prepares client service teams for delivery of plans in client meetings with developing communication skills

Flowcharts

  • Develops and maintains templates and policies/procedures for estate flowcharts
  • Reads and interprets complex client estate planning documents
  • Develops understanding of estate planning techniques and document language relevant to estate plan simulation

Educational Pieces

  • Develops thought leader for firm on comprehensive financial planning issues
  • Develops and updates various client educational pieces
  • Reviews technical and complex estate planning issues

Qualifications:

  • College degree with professional designation of CPA and/or CFP and 6 years demonstrated experience in comprehensive personal financial planning
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills required; excellent computer skills in Excel with ability to build Excel worksheets relative to complex planning strategies
  • Experience in insurance industry with knowledge of insurance products relative to financial and estate planning highly desirable
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and professionally
